- <p> DIED. Hugh Morrow, 75, speechwriter and spokesman for New
- York Governor, later Vice President, Nelson Rockefeller; in
- Chestnut Ridge, N.Y. Morrow joined Rockefeller's staff after a
- career as a correspondent for the Philadelphia Inquirer and an
- editor of the Saturday Evening Post. Morrow was famous as a
- political speech writer. Henry Kissinger once said, "No one does
- the words better than Hughie."
